OXID is a specialized living lime living, auxiliary in various industrial processes.
APPLICATIONS
OXID is used in steel processes such as slagging, desulfurization, and the protection of refractories.
In mining, it is a basic chemical to recover metals such as: copper, lead, zinc, nickel, silver, gold, and radioactive elements such as uranium and radium.
In chemical processes it acts as a pH regulator and neutralizes chemical reactions.
Participates in the processes of obtaining cane juice and sugar.
BENEFITS
OXID works in the leaching and flotation stage acting as a pH regulating agent, in addition to maintaining the appropriate alkalinity, it acts as a flocculating additive.
